Tucked into a beautifully restored historic house in San Antonio's Pearl district, Best Quality Daughter blends upscale elegance with the warmth of a family kitchen. Chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin honors her heritage while pushing Chinese-American comfort food somewhere entirely new — think mochi hush puppies, Korean corn cheese spring rolls, and dan dan noodles tangled with brisket and wagyu beef.
Every dish is built for sharing. Portions run generous and family-style, whether you're digging into curry that "will blow your socks off with flavors and spice" or working through a plate of popcorn fried chicken with house-made ranch.
